Rocks and Things is located at 114 Oak Avenue, in Historic Downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina, just off SR 226 on Old
U.S. 19/Oak Avenue/Upper Street. Our building was built in 1940 and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
Spruce Pine has been designated as the "Home of the Perfect Christmas Tree."
Coming north on the Blue Ridge Parkway, get off at mile marker 331, SR 226 and follow it west five miles, cross the N.
Toe River, and turn right to our shop!
Coming south on the Blue Ridge Parkway, get off at US 221 N to SR 194S to US 19E South, the turn right at Old SR 226,
go over the N. Toe River, and turn right to our shop.
Coming from the Asheville, NC area, take US 19N to Spruce Pine and turn left on Old SR 226, cross the N. Toe River and
turn right to our shop!
From the East Coast on I-40W, take SR 226 at Exit 86, Marion, NC area, take SR 226 to US 221/SR 226 Bypass.
Follow the bypass to the Us221/SR 226 split. Turn left on SR226, then follow the road up the hill. Cross under
the Blue Ridge Parkway. Follow SR 226 for 5 miles to US 19. Go straight ahead on Old SR 226, cross the N. Toe
River and turn right to our shop. Approximately 23 miles.
From East on I-26W, go to Exit 9 (Burnsville/Spruce Pine) US 19E. Go East 30 miles on 19E to Spruce Pine.
At the third light (Old SR 226) turn left and cross the N. Toe River and turn right to our shop!
